Teddy
Islington Mill, Salford, England

Teddy is an opportunity to view an existing work by Luxembourg and Venice-based artist, Robert Frankle, during his three month residency at Islington Mill. The installation presents portraits and biographies of circa 40-year old teddy bears. Composed of two parts, Fantasy and Reality, in dialogue with each other, the texts relate to childhood fantasies and experiences. Yet they are written in a sophisticated adult language.
