Description

Narcissus revisits the ancient Greek Narcissus myth. Narcissus falls in love with himself, drowns and transforms into a plant of the same name. In this installation, visitors individually enter virtual woods to approach a virtual pond and in so doing engage with a virtual representation of themselves.

How does one react when they see their reflection in a fountain? If their senses were extended, what would they be like? What would they see and feel?

The installation responds to and reacts to the presence of visitors going through an every changing cycle unique to each visitor that imagines a future evolved human with new transhuman ways of seeing.
