Washing concerns a type of obsessive-compulsive disorder, that of obsessively washing, for example one's hands. In the context of the 2020 Coronavirus epidemic, it suddenly takes on a new relevance.

Hands are washed, they are dried, then the action begins once again in a perpetual loop continuing forever. As for someone suffering from the disorder, it is impossible to totally remove the filth and get fully clean.

The intention of the work is first of all to present the obsession. Secondly, it is to convey to the spectator a part of the sensation of obsessiveness in the mind of the person who feels the compulsion to execute this action.
