you are here concludes a three month residency at Islington Mill by Luxembourg and Venice-based artist, Robert Frankle. The works presented in the show have all been conceived and elaborated during the period of the residency. They are reflections on the Salford and Manchester area and various encounters that the artist had during the residency. Aspects of the artist's relationship with a place, experience, or theme are recurrent elements in much of his work, however, developed in such a way as to be more universal in character.
